Fruit Crêpes

Look Forward to Breakfast

“For a quick and healthy way to start the day.”

1 pre-made crêpe
½ cup fruit of your choice
1 tbsp cottage cheese
1 tbsp preserve (or jam) of your choice

Buy pre-made crêpes and freeze with waxed paper in between each crêpe.

· Take crêpe(s) out of freezer and thaw overnight.  Alternatively, defrost on the morning you want to eat them in a microwave or in a frying pan with a little butter

· Fill middle of crêpe with fruit of your choice

· Add preserves and cottage cheese

· Roll and serve

Did you know? Crêpes have their origin in France.  It is the French word for a thin, delicate pancake.  The crêpe’s versatility has allowed it to form the basis for many scrumptious breakfast items, tempting appetizers, enticing entrées, and delectable desserts not just in France, but all over the world.
