*ICBC Coverage of Chiropractic Care
ICBC and the BC Chiropractic Association have launched a new pilot program that makes it easier to get coverage for chiropractic care after an accident at the work place. This option is available if your claim occured on or after June 1, 2009.
Under this new program, ICBC will pay a lump sum to the chiropractor to cover all the treatments for injuries relating to your car accident. You will not be responsible for any additional fees for the duration of the treatment plan. Chiropractic care will continue until you are recovered to pre-accident status or when you have reached a level of maximal recovery.
Referrals are not needed to receive chiropractic care for ICBC, WCB, MSP, or Extended Health.
